This Privacy Notice explains how DATACORTEX PTE. LTD (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and discloses personal data when you visit or interact with skin-manager.com and when your business uses the SkinManager platform. We are incorporated in Singapore.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: (a) business contact details such as your name, job title, company name, and business email; (b) account and authentication data (e.g., username, password hash, role/permissions); (c) communications (e.g., emails and support requests); and (d) technical data such as device and log data (e.g., IP address, timestamps, basic security logs). Note: under Singapore PDPA, “business contact information” may be treated differently from other personal data.
We collect, use and disclose personal data for the following purposes: (1) to process integration or partnership enquiries and contact you; (2) to create and manage user accounts, provide access to the platform, and administer subscriptions; (3) to provide customer support and respond to requests; (4) to secure and maintain our systems (including monitoring, audit logs, and preventing misuse); (5) to comply with applicable laws, regulatory guidance, or lawful requests; and (6) where applicable, to send service-related notices and updates. We will notify you of the relevant purposes on or before collection, and before using data for a new purpose, unless an exception under the PDPA applies.
Where required under the PDPA, we generally collect, use and disclose personal data with your consent (including deemed consent where applicable), or where processing is permitted without consent under the PDPA (for example, specific statutory exceptions). For business contact information collected and used for business purposes, the PDPA Data Protection Provisions may not apply.
We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate our website and services (for example, hosting, security monitoring, email delivery, customer support tooling), and with professional advisers or authorities where required. We share only what is necessary for the relevant purpose and require appropriate safeguards.
Where we transfer personal data outside Singapore (for example, to cloud or support service providers), we will take steps to ensure the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, including using legally enforceable obligations (such as contractual clauses) where appropriate.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and as required for legal or business purposes, and we will delete or anonymise data when it is reasonable to assume the purpose is no longer served.
We implement reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification, loss, or similar risks. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, separation of environments, and monitoring.
You may request access to your personal data or ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data by contacting our DPO (see below). To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity and/or your authority to act for your organisation before responding.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw your consent by contacting our DPO with reasonable notice. We will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawal (for example, we may not be able to provide certain services).
For website enquiries and user account administration, we act as an organisation responsible for personal data under our control. When we process “Customer Personal Data” uploaded or submitted by our business customers to use the platform, we may act as a data intermediary processing such data on behalf of the customer, under written contract terms. In such cases, requests relating to Customer Personal Data should normally be directed to the relevant customer (the organisation that controls the purposes and means of processing).
If you have a question or complaint about our handling of personal data, please contact our DPO first. We will review and respond. You may also contact Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
